Polyethylene Terephthalate is hard and it has low coefficient of friction. PETP (also known as PET) remains more accurate in its dimensions than POM. Its small water absorption doesn't affect its mechanical or electrical properties. PETP is mostly used in parts of machines which require precise dimensions. PETP is self-extinguishing and non-poisonous material which is also made as transparent PET-G.
